Tullia Receives Her SACE Art Show Prize
During the Term 1 holidays, the 2021 SACE Art Show Awards were presented to seven students from various South Australian schools. Port Lincoln High School’s Tullia Sellen was the recipient of the AEU Art Award, for her work titled “Subsistence Through Seed”. Tullia was presented with her prize by AEU representative Ms Jacki Douglas and Mr Martin Gray (SACE Officer, Curriculum and Assessment).
The students’ achievements were celebrated amongst a group of proud families, teachers, sponsors and SACE representatives, including SACE’s Chief Executive Officer Professor Martin Westwell, who opened the proceedings. Recognition was given to each award winner for the outstanding quality, creativity and technical skill of their work. Tullia’s sponsor personally congratulated her and was astounded by her depth in commentary on a social and political level, and her skill at manipulating paint to achieve the detail in her subject matter.
We congratulate Tullia once again on her magnificent efforts.
~ Mrs Annette Kelson (Tullia’s 2020 Visual Art Teacher)
