PLHS to Support “Wear It Purple Day” (Fri Aug 25)
Port Lincoln High School will support “Wear It Purple Day” this coming Friday (August 25th), with staff and students wearing casual clothes (with a purple theme) to celebrate diversity and show their support for young people from the LGBTIQA+ community. This annual initiative is facilitated by Wear it Purple, a student-run, not-for-profit organisation.
We will use this week’s Dharna Group sessions to focus on Wear It Purple‘s 2023 theme of “Write Your Story” – representing VISIBILITY; COMMUNITY; ACCEPTANCE.
