PLHS Artists Enter Inaugural PLAHS Art Prize

Nine PLHS students have submitted entries into the inaugural 2021 Port Lincoln Aboriginal Health Services Art Prize.
The theme for this exhibition is “Health and Wellbeing”; our students brainstormed what health and wellbeing meant for them personally, within the group, as a family and in the community. The resulting artworks are diverse and convey strong messages of significance to the students.
The PLAHS Art Prize Exhibition will open on Friday March 5th at the Nautilus Arts Centre. We wish the students every success for the exhibition and congratulate them on their willingness to share their thoughts, opinions and stories with the community.
Our participating artists are: Latrell Miller, Latrelle Sumner-Pickett, Amali Hirschausen, Mia Speed, Summer Retallick-Blackberry, Jesse Retallick, Nadine Richards, Tristan Edwards & Bridgette Betts.
