Parent Resource: “An Introduction to Regulation”
PLHS staff recently participated in a professional development session based on the topic of regulation, the ability to notice and manage your emotions, attention and energy levels to match the demands of a situation. We are pleased to be able to share a related resource with our parent community.
This online resource:
- will help parents to understand regulation
- will give examples of how parents can respond to their child’s big feelings
- may take up to one hour to complete
- does not need to be completed all at once
