Celebrating NAIDOC Week at PLHS

Throughout Week 9 at PLHS, the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is being acknowledged and celebrated in recognition of NAIDOC Week.
As depicted below, we have planned a variety of events and activities for the week. The festivities commenced yesterday with a range of PLHS staff and students participating in the annual NAIDOC March along the Port Lincoln foreshore.
Our representatives carried a stunning banner featuring this year’s theme, “Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!” – the artwork was produced last week by senior Art students Sabrina Burgoyne and Makayla Piddington.
We look forward to sharing further activities throughout the week.
