Mitchell Wins SACE Art Show Award

We are delighted to announce that one of our former students has won an award at this year’s prestigious SACE Art Show in Adelaide – congratulations to Mitchell Paterson on winning a “Minister for Human Services Regional Encouragement Award” for his piece titled “Public Art of Port Lincoln 2023 Calendar”.
Mitchell, who studied Year 12 Design in 2022, has been invited to attend the 2023 SACE Art Show Award Night on Friday April 14, where he will have the opportunity to meet with fellow winners, sponsors, teachers, principals and the gallery team.
We urge anyone who will be in Adelaide over the Easter weekend to visit the exhibition in the Light Square Gallery at the Adelaide College of the Arts – as well as being to view Mitchell’s calendar, you will also be able to see works by three other 2022 PLHS Design students – Liela Phillips, Chloe Poel and Peter Kapnistis.
Congratulations again to Mitchell and his family on this wonderful achievement.
