Zoe Claims Open Night Photography Prize

1st ZDR

Congratulations to Year 10 Photography student Zoe De Ron for claiming Port Lincoln High School’s inaugural “People’s Choice Photography Prize” – Zoe’s stunning “Sun Over Sand” image (narrowly) received the most votes from patrons at last night’s Open Night.

Second place went to Ella McEwin for her “Wave Break” photo, with Lily Hale’s “Gum Leaves” in third. A Highly Commended prize was awarded to Tyler Cowley for his “Purple Seascape” image.

Congratulations also go to Mrs. Sandra Spencer (Principal at Lincoln Gardens Primary School), whose voting slip was randomly drawn from the ballot box to claim our “Lucky Voter” prize – Sandra will receive a framed copy of the photo she voted for, Zaine Lennon’s “Pine Needles”.

Many thanks to the hundreds of people who voted last night. Pleasingly, all fifteen entries received votes, a fact that points to the overall high quality of the work of our young photographers.
