Sixth Place for PLHS/CAS at S&EC State Final
After an intense day of competition at the SA State Final of the 2026 National Science & Engineering Challenge, our plucky “Plummins” team (who entered the day as the sixth ranked SA team) duly finished in a highly creditable sixth place overall.
The accompanying teachers were extremely proud of the manner in which our team participated all day – pleasingly, several of our students were awarded bonus points for their efforts in packing up equipment at the conclusion of the competition.
Unfortunately, our bridge suffered a catastrophic mishap before the final judging was even underway. Nevertheless, it was a spirited crew performance all round.
