In two weeks’ time, we look forward to welcoming hundreds of families and community members to our first Open Night for 2026.
The gates and doors will be opened wide, with PLHS students and staff stationed in learning spaces across the campus, ready to welcome guests and showcase our learning programs to you.
Amongst the many opportunities on offer that afternoon:
- feed the barramundi in our Aquaculture Centre
- view and vote for your favourite SAASTA guernsey/polo artwork
- listen to various Music students rehearsing and performing
- come and see our new 3D printers in action – make yourself a key tag
- witness teams of Year 9 Design students taking on the seemingly impossible “Twenty Bricks” challenge
- join Indonesian and Japanese Language students for cultural games and activities
- learn out about our Old Scholars’ Association – even register and join
- enjoy Senior Drama students rehearsing skits for this year’s major production
- see our Year 12 Dharna Crews attempting a series of fun Crew Challenges
- participate in a variety of interactive Science experiments, involving virtual reality, sherbert, microscopes and Van de Graaff generators
- watch the Year 9 Dance crew rehearsing the opening number of this year’s production
- meet members of our Governing Council and contribute to a brainstorming session
We will add plenty more to this list in the coming days – stay tuned…
