On a very wintry Monday June 25th, a group of Port Lincoln High School students travelled to Tumby Bay to compete in a 5-a-side Soccer Carnival. We played against teams from St. Joseph’s School, Cummins Area School, Tumby Bay Area School and Navigator College. Our boys came first (out of eight teams), whilst the girls also performed well, placing second in their pool and fourth (out of eight) overall.
It was an absolutely wonderful day out with a terrific group of students. Congratulations to Year 11 student Dylan Stigwood who was coaching for an Integrated Learning assessment.
Highlights of the day included some spectacular goal scoring, as well as the outstanding sportsmanship and camaraderie present within both the boys and girls squads. Good on you!
