Thank You to our Wonderful Work Experience Partners
Many students from our Year 10 crew have spent this week out in the community, completing a valuable work experience placement as part of our school’s Student Pathways program. Work experience provides our students with the opportunity to trial a career field of interest and gain confidence in themselves, the workplace and social situations.
PLHS Work Experience Coordinator Mr. Hayden Bennett stated:
“This vital program is greatly appreciated by our students, their families and the PLHS staff; it allows us to strengthen our ties within the community whilst enabling our students to further develop the knowledge, dispositions and capabilities required to become valued employees and quality people.”
PLHS is incredibly grateful to our wonderful work experience program partners for 2026. The vast majority of the local businesses and organisations listed below have hosted one of our Year 10 students this week; others have agreed to do so at a later, more convenient date.
We sincerely thank these businesses/organisations for going out of their way to assist our young people to make a successful transition from high school to the workforce.
