Bronze Medals for SA Footy Reps Harry & Lincoln

Last week, two PLHS students proudly represented their school and state in Australian Rules football at the 2026 School Sport Australia Games in Melbourne – congratulations to Harry Nagel (Year 9) and Lincoln Stelzer-Linn (Year 8) on this wonderful achievement.

In the 14 years and under competition, Harry and Lincoln were integral members of the talented South Australian team, which ultimately came away with a hard-fought overall third place.

After a narrow four-point loss to Western Australia, the SA team bounced back brilliantly with convincing wins over Queensland and Victoria White to earn a semi-final clash with the eventual champions, Victoria Navy. Although they fell short in the semi-final, they were the team that came closest to defeating this strong outfit.

The SA boys finished the carnival on a high with a convincing win over NSW to secure an outstanding bronze medal.

It was a fantastic week of learning, growth and development for both boys, who represented PLHS with pride, determination and excellence across the week. They consistently demonstrated their school values throughout the carnival and translated their PLHS crew spirit into a strong, team-first mentality.

Well done, Harry and Lincoln – we are incredibly proud of your achievements and the manner in which you represented our school and state; we will follow your footy progress with great interest over the years to come and look forward to more positive results.
