Last week, five Year 9 Health & Physical Education classes participated in a Stamford Hill hike as part of their Outdoor Pursuits unit.
The aim of the excursion was to provide students with an opportunity to experience our national park, with a focus on Australian history, observation, navigation and leadership. Adding to the experience, we were joined by a mob of emus whilst eating our snacks.
Students’ feedback on the excursion was positive, particularly by those who had not undertaken the walk before.
