Year 12’s Enjoy Final Week of Scheduled Classes

As these images clearly demonstrate, our Year 12 students have certainly enjoyed their final days of scheduled classes this week. Whilst the vast majority still have crucial assignments to complete and submit, and exams to prepare for and sit, today was their final opportunity to all assemble in one place before their upcoming Formal dinner (Friday November 15th) and Awards & Completion Ceremony (Friday November 20th).

Each day this week, the Year 12’s have embraced the following themes:

  • Monday: Dress as a Teacher
  • Tuesday: Primary school jumper / Anything but a bag
  • Wednesday: Dynamic Duos/Trios
  • Thursday: What did you want to be when you grew up?
  • Friday: Free choice dress-up

Aside from the dress-ups and harmless pranks, today’s fun and frivolity included a shared luncheon on the Senior Floor. During the event, heartfelt parting words of wisdom and best wishes were delivered by a range of key senior school staff members, including Mr. Craig Akehurst, Miss Bambi Britten, Ms. Michael Webb, Ms. Jess Gudzenovs and Ms. Tiff Evans. Thoughtful farewell postcards written by the staff were then distributed to the students before the gathering was dismissed for the day.

We wish our “Class of 2024” all the best for their final assessments over the coming weeks.
