Each week in our 8A Dharna Crew, we choose a different country and learn a little about it. We taste some of their food and learn about some of their culture and traditions.
Last week, we chose Italy and tasted some pizza! This week we chose Russia and ate some chocolate salami! We also used air dry clay to make some traditional Russian toys called “Dymkovo”.
Learning about different countries and cultures is an important step in being inclusive, one of our school’s key values; we get to try some tasty foods as well!
