Students from Port Lincoln High School’s Transition & Learning Centre (TLC) recently catered for the Minister for Education, Mr. Blair Boyer MP.
As Head Chef, Year 11 student Shahni Blythman chose the menu for the day; she prepared kangaroo tails (including skinning and removing the sinew) for a delicious stew, as well as making damper. Meanwhile, Bella Meffert (Year 11) and Reegan Pelkonen (Year 12) prepared the vegetables and helped serve the meal to the Minister and his entourage.
TAFE lecturer Clayle and I were very proud of the efforts and conduct of our students. As these images show, they greatly enjoyed the experience and honour.
