Understanding the power of inclusivity, TLC participated in the recent National Reconciliation Week activities at PLHS with gusto.
Bella Symons thoroughly enjoying her winnings at the 3-on-3 Basketball competition on Wednesday, Mahayla Stevens, Jack Barnett, Quinn Dutschke and Bella Symons took advantage of the delicious kangaroo on offer on Thursday, and several of our students joined in the whole school morning tea on the Friday.
Teacher Matilda Taylor ensured all students at the TLC felt included by conducting a joint leaf artwork project – during this process, all TLC students/staff had an opportunity to contribute, whilst each TLC Dharna Crew engaged in discussions around Sorry Day, Reconciliation Week and what are we going to do now. It was a very powerful and thought-provoking conversation.
