With the clear underlying message of looking out for those around us, staff and students at our Transition & Learning Centre (TLC) acknowledged “RU OK?” day with a variety of engaging activities – these included watching themed videos, sampling some tasty goodies and an Amazing Race organised and run by talented Youth Worker Angela Perin with the support of awesome SSO Kye Martin.
Our version of the Amazing Race was designed to connect people who don’t ordinarily work with each other in a fun way, thus promoting belonging and positive wellbeing. We also had visits from headspace’s Donna and Tara, and our Pastoral Care worker Nicole, who each ran challenges for us.
