Thank You to our Year 10 Work Experience Partners

Our Year 10 students are out in the community this week (or next), completing a work experience placement as part of their Personal Learning Plan (PLP) course. Work experience provides our students with the opportunity to trial a career field of interest and gain confidence in themselves, the workplace and social situations.

As PLHS Work Experience Coordinator Ms Tiffany Evans put it: “This vital program is greatly appreciated by our students, their families and the PLHS staff; it allows us to strengthen our ties within the community whilst enabling our students to further develop the skills and abilities required to become a valued employee.”

PLHS is incredibly grateful to our wonderful work experience program partners for 2021. These local businesses and organisations (listed below) go out of their way to assist our young people to make a successful transition from school.
