Today (February 21st) is International Mother Language Day, a worldwide annual observance designed to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity.
To mark the occasion, ABC Radio’s Emma Pedler interviewed our two Language teachers – Mrs. Tanya Booker (Japanese) and Mrs. Mel McGown (Indonesian) – during this morning’s Breakfast program.
Emma was kind enough to share the recording with us – it can accessed via the link below, with Tanya and Mel’s interview commencing around the 48:45 mark.
