Success for ATSI Students Recognised at Morning Tea

Earlier today, our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students were invited to attend a celebratory morning tea in the Aboriginal Education Room. The function was arranged in order to celebrate their many and varied successes from the first half of this school year.

The proceedings were hosted by Aboriginal Education Teacher Mr. Brendan Welsh, and also featured addresses from ASETO Miss Shantelle Pickett, Principal Mr. Craig Akehurst and outgoing ASETO Miss Nicole Carter – we wish Nicole all the best as she heads to Adelaide next week to commence work as an ASETO at Charles Campbell College.

Well done to all involved in this morning’s success-themed event.
