Yesterday, the student artists of Port Lincoln High School’s P.L.A.C.E. subject (Port Lincoln Art Centre Enterprise) opened a stunning exhibition of their work in the Nautilus Arts Centre’s Rotary Gallery.
The dazzling collection of original collaborative paintings – entitled “Reflect Respect Celebrate Community” – was officially opened by the Mayor of Port Lincoln Mr. Brad Flaherty and City of Port Lincoln CEO Mr. Matthew Morgan. PLHS Art teacher Ms. Wanda Jarvis and Year 9 student Robert Roderick Varcoe also spoke at the opening. This initiative has been supported by the City of Port Lincoln and the Reconciliation Action Plan Working Party.
We urge all art lovers to get to the Rotary Gallery to view the display before it closes this Saturday (November 5th).
