Congratulations to Year 11 Kitchen Operations students Lukas Beazley and Abby Laube who represented PLHS earlier this week at the 2018 SA Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge. Their signature dish of chicken dumplings in miso soup earned a silver medal!
This is a fantastic result, especially given the tough competition from seventeen other schools in attendance at TAFE SA’s Regency International Centre in Adelaide.
Congratulations to Lukas and Abby; well done also to their teacher Miss Kesby Turner-Wiebreck and TAFE SA cookery lecturer Jeremy Hartwich for their expert guidance leading up to and during the event.
