Last Friday, the Year 9 students from our SAASTA Connect class were fortunate to visit the Arteyrea community arts centre.
We met some local Barngarla artists and were invited to ask questions about some of the artworks currently being created; this included an opportunity to find out about the inspiration behind them.
We then participated in a portrait painting session usings charcoals and oil paints.
