SAASTA Class Successful at Power Cup

Recently, twelve SAASTA students from Port Lincoln High School travelled to Adelaide to participate in the annual Power Cup carnival. This initiative sees schools from across the state compete against each other in a round-robin football competition. The event is not confined to football however, with cultural and career workshops also on offer.

Our students competed at a very high level over the course of the competition; both our male and female teams were largely successful. In conjunction with their excellent football skills, the students need to be commended for their ability to demonstrate exceptional teamwork, leadership and fair play.

Furthermore, the students showed their cultural understanding by participating in a cultural dance on the Adelaide Oval prior to the Port Power vs. Richmond game.
