Revised Dates for Subject Counselling

 

PLHS students and families are advised that our Subject Counselling days for 2020 have been moved back two weeks to Week 9 – we apologise for any inconvenience. Please take note of the new dates and online booking codes below:

 

Dear Parent/Caregivers,

At this time, we are already planning for the 2020 school year. Part of this process includes providing information to students and families about our subject offerings, the various learning pathways through PLHS and the transition to work and/or further study. To complete our subject counselling program, we have arranged the following dates in Week 9 for students and parent/caregivers to discuss, select and sign off on their choices for 2020.

 

CURRENT YEAR 9 STUDENTS:

• Tuesday September 17^th (8:30am–4:30pm)
• Year 9 students only required at school for their interview
• No school uniform required for interview

BOOKING INFORMATION:

6. An email will then be sent confirming your scheduled appointment time

• Wednesday September 18^th (8:30am–4:30pm) & Thursday September 19^th (8:30am–4:30pm)
• No school uniform required for interview
• Year 10 students only required at school for their interview

CURRENT YEAR 11 STUDENTS:

• Panel Discussions: Tuesday September 17^th (8:30am–4:30pm), Wednesday September 18^th (8:30am–4:30pm) & Thursday September 19^th (8:30am–4:30pm)
• Year 11 students attend normal timetabled classes (i.e. attend interview then return to class)
• Normal school uniform expectations
• Students are encouraged to book a time during their study lesson to limit disruptions to normal classes

All parent/caregivers are asked to arrange a convenient time to come into the school to discuss which subjects their student(s) will study in 2020. We look forward to meeting with you on that day. If students are away or the day is inconvenient, please phone the school on 8683-6000 to arrange an alternative time.
