“R U OK?” Connections & Conversations

Earlier today, connections and conversations were created between PLHS staff and students as we recognised national “R U OK? Day” for another year. The school community was encouraged to wear casual clothes, particularly with a yellow theme, and congregated in the Amphitheatre at lunchtime for a series of awareness-raising activities.

These included a brilliant performance from the combined Port Lincoln Primary and High Schools Band and a very popular barbecue lunch courtesy of our SRC and Wellbeing Team. Those in attendance also enjoyed yellow jelly cups and Zooper Doopers, and friendship bracelet-making in the Resource Centre.

Congratulations to this year’s organisers and participants on a wonderful and worthy event.
