Port Power players, coaches and officials have visited the Lower Eyre Peninsula this week as part of the club’s 2018 Australia Post AFL Community Camp. PLHS was privileged to receive a visit in the Gym this afternoon from two players – Cleve-born small forward Sam Gray plus new recruit and former Melbourne co-captain Jack Trengove.
Both players were down-to-earth and generous with their time. They shared information about their personal backgrounds and football careers, and offered advice on how to achieve your goals. After engaging our students in a Q&A session, the players provided souvenir posters, signed autographs and posed for photos.
Many thanks to the Port Adelaide Football Club for making the players available – they were excellent ambassadors for their club and we wish them well for the upcoming season.
