This group photo reflects the day we enjoyed at today’s Open Touch Football Carnival. Although we were a bit of a ‘motley crew’, we had a fantastic time. Aside from playing with fabulous sportsmanship throughout the day, this wonderful group of young people helped to host the carnival – this role included managing the set-up and pack-up of fields/tents and supporting and socialising with students from Navigator College and Cummins Area School.
With their positive attitudes and willingness to learn, students from all three teams represented their schools extremely well. Congratulations to the Port Lincoln High School Girls’ team, which earned a spot in the Grand Final. We were not the eventual winners, but wish to congratulate Cummins Area School (Girls’ winners) and Navigator College (Boys’ winners) on taking home the pennants.
Big thankyous to Coach Tyson Collins and to referees Peter Tokarski and David Hall.
