This very flexible course permits individual students to develop further skills and knowledge in their chosen passion through involvement in both their school and club environments.
Students undertake skill development (practical exploration) and are provided opportunity to specialise in two aspects of sport/physical activity that interests them (personal venture and connections).
Incidental Costs: There is potential to attend a non-compulsory excursion.
This course leads to either Stage 2 Physical Education or Stage 2 Sports Studies. It is ideal for students who are independent learners, have a passion for sport/physical activity, but still want all options open re: the mentioned pathways.
Assessment:
Students’ performance will be determined according to the subject’s Performance Standards as outlined in the Subject Outline. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes. Themes that are explored throughout the course are personal development, sporting skills, health – anything that interests the individual student.
