Success for SAASTA Crew at 2026 Power Cup
On Wednesday May 20th, twenty Year 10, 11 and 12 SAASTA students travelled to Adelaide to compete in the 2026 SANTOS Power Cup.
Across five days, the group participated in game play, cultural immersion activities, career and health exploration and a cultural dance on Adelaide Oval before the Port Adelaide versus Carlton AFL game.
The boys team was coached by Mr. Hayden Bennett and came away undefeated after eight games. The girls were coached by CJ Dodd and combined with the Ceduna academy; they were ultimately awarded Power Cup champions for 2026 after defeating Central Yorke in the final.
