PLHS Staff & Students Support Fred’s Van
Once again, a huge thank you to several PLHS staff for supporting Fred’s Van last weekend – Mrs. Helen Marks, Ms. Sara Duncan, Ms. Amber Lovell and Miss Emma Tokarski all volunteered their time to prepare and serve as part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s Fred’s Van meal service program.
A big thank you also to the Year 10 students in Mr. Ben Henrichs and Mrs. Nat van Riet’s Essential Maths classes, for planning and then making pasta bolognaise and Biscoff cheesecake. These classes have been participating in lessons designed to strengthen their community connections. Of course, the students had to taste test the dishes to ensure that they were worthy of being served to those in need within our Port Lincoln community.
