Netball Nat Facilitates Bloom Leadership Session

Bloom Leadership Session With Nat VB 2

On Wednesday, former Australian Diamonds and Adelaide Thunderbirds netball player and captain Natalie von Bertouch led our Junior Bloom Leadership crew through their final two learning modules.

With the support of local football coach and mentor Johann Wagner, these sessions focused on the importance of courageous conversations, role-playing a range of leadership scenarios, and continuing to work towards putting personal values into action within students’ own communities.

The workshops were highly engaging, practical and collaborative, requiring students to work together, demonstrate teamwork, and apply problem-solving skills to complete a variety of challenges and tasks.

Our students greatly valued the opportunity to learn from two outstanding leaders and to further develop their own leadership capabilities, qualities that will support them well beyond the classroom and into their future pathways.

We sincerely thank Nat (and former Port Power captain Tom Jonas) for their time, expertise and ongoing support in delivering this program. We look forward to seeing the Bloom Leadership program continue to grow and thrive at PLHS.
