Do You Dare to Durian?
On Open Night (Wed Sept 2 // 4:30~6pm), visitors to Bu McGown’s Indonesian Room in the Specialist Building will be invited to try a “delicious” durian lolly (amongst an assortment of Language learning displays and activities).
The Year 7 Indonesian students pictured here – (L-R) Gabriella Aay, Bailey Baird, Isaiah Boyd, Charlie Farrow and Ava Sorensen – eagerly volunteered for the opportunity to sample this cultural delicacy for our photo. As you can clearly see by the look on their overjoyed faces, they didn’t regret their decision at all!
Don’t worry, Bu McGown has enough for everyone.
