Celebrating Our PLHS SSO Crew
“A single person can spark change; a united group can transform lives”.
This week (August 17–21) is SSO Week for 2026. School Services Officers (SSO) provide invaluable administrative and learning support across all SA government schools/preschools.
On behalf of the broader PLHS community, we acknowledge the incredible work that our 39 ancillary staff perform at our school on a daily basis. They undertake a wide variety of essential roles, from managing admin and finance, to providing crucial in-class support, to maintaining important facilities and programs such as our Resource Centre, laboratories/workshops, ICT systems and grounds.
These people are an integral part of our PLHS Crew and true changemakers in the lives of our students. Through their care, commitment, humour, skill and unwavering support, they help shape a school community where young people feel seen, valued and empowered to grow. Each person brings unique strengths, and together they make a lasting difference — building connection, creating opportunity and helping our students navigate school and life with confidence.
