Book Week Dress-up Day a Magical Success
A fun experiment was conducted at PLHS today, with very conclusive results. Are high school kids too old to dress up for Book Week? As these images clearly demonstrate, the answer is a resounding no, with students from all six year levels really getting into the spirit of this year’s Book Week theme, “Reading is Magic!”.
Many made their way to the Resource Centre for a parade of costumes and the judging of best dressed across several categories (staff, groups and individual students) – congratulations to not only the winners, but all who participated in the colour and fun.
Special mentions must go to Resource Centre staff Ms. Glenda Goerge and Mrs. Rachel Ambrose for their wonderful organisation and delivery of this week’s Book Week events – magical stuff!
