On Thursday May 16th, our Open Boys and Girls Touch Football squads took on teams from Navigator College, St. Joseph’s School and Cummins Area School in the annual tournament. Both teams improved as the day progressed – the boys unfortunately lost to Navigators (the eventual winners) in the semi-final, whilst the girls finished a commendable second after only one loss for the day.
Special mentions go to Max Rogalski and Georgie Rowett for their excellent communication and organisational skills during the games. Big thank yous go to Mark Fisher, Jim Stockham and Croquet for their assistance with the refereeing, and to Steven Tokarski for setting up the fields.
