Port Lincoln High School sincerely thanks the representatives from several local employers – McDonald’s, OTR, Kmart, Bunnings, KFC, Coles and Woolworths – for sharing their time and expertise with our Year 9 students in the Resource Centre earlier today.
Our Year 9’s benefitted greatly by hearing vital firsthand information about what employers are looking for in their employees, as well as gaining valuable tips for securing that first part-time job. This innovative careers expo was the brainchild of PLHS Student Pathways Leader Ms. Tiffany Evans and Year 9 Manager Mrs. Joh Walding – well done to both on this outstanding initiative.
By all accounts, our Year 9 students were outstanding ambassadors for PLHS and the employers who presented pitched their content perfectly for the audience.
