In preparation for the school’s upcoming centenary celebrations (in 2023), PLHS is seeking information about a time capsule that was buried inside the bricks adjacent to the staircase entrance to the Hall.
There are two schools of thought about when it was placed there; either in the mid-1970’s when the red brick buildings were completed, or in 1998 to acknowledge the school’s 75th year.
Community members who know anything about the time capsule – particularly if they were present at the time that it was buried – are urged to contact the school with their information. Please and thank you.
