Halee, Craig & Nicole in the Nation’s Capital

PLHS Aboriginal Secondary Education Transition Officer Miss Nicole Carter is in Canberra with two of our senior Indigenous students – Halee Adams (Year 12) and Craig Miller-Kropinyeri (Year 11). They are currently attending WEX 2019 (Work Exposure in Government); this event aims to increase the number of ATSI students completing Year 12 and going on to work in the Australian Public Service and the Australian Parliament.

Halee, Craig and Nicole are participating in hands-on experiences and information about job opportunities and career pathways. They are reportedly having a great time rubbing shoulders with Australia’s leaders, including our local Federal Member for Grey, Mr Rowan Ramsey MP.
