Yesterday, four Stage 2 Dance students participated in the 2019 Leaps & Bounds Dance Day at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
The workshop commenced with a range of guest speakers discussing their experiences studying dance at both SACE and university levels. After the morning session, students participated in three workshops – Contemporary, Jazz and Choreography – with leading industry professionals. Each workshop focused on building students’ skills within the genre, and providing new tools and techniques for them to take back to their subject at school.
Our final session for the day consisted of a Q&A, where students were encouraged to ask questions about the subject and were provided with key information about their core assessments.
All students involved enjoyed a fantastic day of learning, building new skills and meeting peers from other schools.
