Back in June, a crew of seven PLHS students – accompanied by Miss Nicola Linn – travelled to the Flinders Ranges to undertake the gruelling Operation Flinders program.
The girls spent eight days sleeping under the stars, cooking by fire, accessing zero technology and bushwalking up to 100km. They stepped up to the challenge and were duly awarded their participation certificates at a presentation ceremony in the Aboriginal Education Room last Friday; representatives from the Operation Flinders organisation, sponsors the Rotary Club of Port Lincoln and Mayor Diana Mislov were in attendance.
Congratulations girls on this wonderful achievement.
