Congratulations to Mrs. Helen Marks and her fantastic cast and crew who this week have delivered the first two of three public performances of this year’s Senior Drama Production, “Skool Daze”.
As the title implies, the show is a compilation of school-themed skits, some originally made famous by comedy giants such as Monty Python, Rowan Atkinson and The Comedy Company.
Despite some challenging material and a few opening night hiccups, the show has been well delivered, and not just by the brave actors – the technical, backstage and front-of-house crews also impressed audiences with a fun cabaret-style production. We have been delighted to host large crowds thus far, even having to add extra tables and chairs to cater for everyone. As well as the humorous and nostalgic scenes on stage, patrons have also enjoyed “tuck shop tucker” courtesy of our Food & Hospitality program and a “Canteen” run by PLHS staff.
There are tickets still available for tonight’s (Thursday) final show for $20 per person (includes snacks) from the school’s Front Office.
Wishing all involved all the best for their final performance. Bravo, Crew!
