Our Stage 2 Child Studies class was recently visited by their buddies from Room 7 at the Port Lincoln Junior Primary School to share knowledge about healthy eating and kitchen safety.
The Year 12 students guided their buddies through a cooking experience that saw the Year 2’s demonstrate excellent culinary skills and safety in the kitchen.
A wonderful time was had by all when working together to create banana pancakes, healthy sandwiches, mini burgers, mini pizzas, muffins, sausage rolls and smoothies. An even better time was had sharing the foods created as a class.
We would like to thank our Year 2 buddies and their teachers for visiting us and supporting our studies – we cannot wait to work with them again soon.
