Last Friday, the Year 8 Japanese and Indonesian/Social Education classes enjoyed a visit from members of the local CFS brigade and Ms Katherine Higgins from the Little Bags of Hope charity. In the lead-up to Christmas (and as part of their citizenship unit), our Social Education classes have been making thank you cards and biscuits, and donating items for charity.
The students were treated to a demonstration using the CFS firetruck, whilst Katherine spoke about the amazing work that the Little Bags of Hope charity does for foster children in our community. We felt honoured to be able to thank some of the hard-working volunteers in our local community.
