The inaugural combined schools “LEP CAREERS & FURTHER EDUCATION EXPO” is on today at Navigator College’s Mangiri Centre.
Exhibitors from across the state provided our Year 10 and 11 students with the opportunity to explore many of the careers and tertiary options available to them in the future. Attendees were able to chat to key personnel and collect pertinent information about potential pathways. They were also able to join breakout sessions run by each of the universities and participate in engaging activities such as CPR and changing a tyre!
Whilst this year’s Expo was hosted by Navigator College, it is anticipated that the initiative will rotate between the town’s three high schools in years to come. Congratulations to all involved in organising and staging the inaugural event and to the participating students for their positive engagement.
