Further to yesterday’s report about our inaugural STEM Floor Challenge, a committed band of Year 8’s and 9’s returned to the Eyre Floor at lunchtime today to have another go at the very difficult “20 Bricks Problem”.
We are delighted to announce that (working as a team), the group managed to achieve their goal, by briefly supporting twenty house bricks 4cm off the ground using nothing but one piece of A4 paper and a small amount of sticky tape.
Congratulations to Zoe Proude, Lily Thompson, Giaan Foster, Elke Hawke, Micah McWhinnie, Connor Stutzer, Sasha Collett and Jade Atkinson on their outstanding teamwork, persistence and ultimately, success.
