Port Lincoln High School’s $2.5M STEM Centre was officially opened earlier today by Members for Flinders Mr Peter Treloar MP.
PLHS Principal Mr Greg Barry hosted today’s ceremony, which featured many invited guests and several speakers. These included Year 11 students Kaiden Hancock-Richards (who delivered a a wonderful Welcome to Country), Cameron Akehurst and Brooklyn George (our 2019 Principal Student Leaders), Mr Treloar (who opened the facility on behalf of the Minister for Education, the Honorable John Gardner) and PLHS Governing Council Chairperson Ms Tabetha Wilkes.
Following the official cutting of the ribbon, those in attendance were provided with a morning tea and the opportunity to tour both floors of the centre.
