It’s not often that your school population more than doubles in a matter of days; ours (sort of) did earlier this week, with the arrival of 1,400 barramundi fingerlings in the Aquaculture Centre.
Under the guidance of teacher Mr. Chris McGown and the care of our senior Aquaculture students, the new classmates have settled in nicely – they are feeding well and seem quite content in their new surroundings. Hopefully this early trend continues, resulting in some much larger fish ready to “graduate” in Term 4.
We look forward to providing several updates throughout the year.
